City of Lights (1966-1968)

Even then I was experimenting a lot, moving the camera, for instance, using double exposures, lith film. The experimental images from my time in New York are my favourite. I have never shown them. At the time I didn’t know where things were heading. But anyone who has survived in New York as a photographer or artist needn’t worry anywhere else.
